What we stand for

Real Sheepskin

Our favourite saying, “once worn never forgotten” comes from our firm belief that you cannot beat real genuine sheepskin. Once you try a pair of truly luxurious sheepskin slippers, we believe the advantages speak for themselves. We believe in bringing the benefits of sheepskin to everyone, there are so many faux fur options in the market which can be very confusing. We still use whole fleece, whole sheepskin fleeces for our traditional range slippers, whilst most others are lined with sheepskin. We continue to promote real sheepskin for it’s amazing properties, the density of the fur gives a cushion which remains soft and supple, perfect for relief on pressure points. Sheepskin regulates temperature keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Local Community

We are proud to support our local community and our local industries, a prime example was our outstanding Somerset Christmas Hampers containing entirely local produce. We pay particular attention to sourcing within Somerset and the South West. We have a strong relationship with our South West Tannery and our local Leather producer Pittards, calling on their expertise when developing new product lines.

Eco-Friendly

We only use sheepskins for our slippers and accessories that come as a by-product of the food industry. We use the hides that would otherwise go to waste and turn them into beautiful sheepskin products which are wonderfully warm and luxurious. Over the last few years we have had paid particular attention to our packaging and being more eco-friendly. We have introduced luxury canvas bags to replace some previous cardboard boxes, our canvas shoppers are made in an environmentally friendly factory with ethical employment policies and use of natural, biodegradable materials. Within our Somerset Workshop even our sheepskin offcuts are sold for craft projects and our premises are designed to be eco-friendly. We recycle as much as we possibly can and we use a carbon neutral delivery service from Interlink Express as standard at no extra cost to our customers.
