Clearance Sheepskin Insoles

Over the years we have been making and experimenting with different types of sheepskin insoles, we are currently phasing out some of our older styles. Here we have combined all the different types, to make it even easier to find the perfect pair, below are summaries of each type:

EU Sheepskin with slip-resistant backing

These are our insoles which were used in our older style Slipper Boots, made in the EU from EU sheepskins and the backing is a recycled polymer, which is water resistant and has a rough finish to help the insole grip in place. The underside of the insole is either dark navy or white

Short Haired EU Sheepskin with slip-resistant backing 

These are the same as our insoles which were used in our older style Slipper Boots, made in the EU from EU sheepskins and the backing is a recycled polymer, which is water resistant and has a rough finish to help the insole grip in place. The underside of the insole is either dark navy or white. However the sheepskin is a rare breed ivory short hair, the sheepskin is silky and more hairlike, we created these to ensure they would fit in footwear with a more shallow design.

None of these styles should be confused with the much cheaper “lambswool” variants, which are made by gluing the sheared wool from the sheep onto a latex backing. These insoles are instead, cut directly from a whole fleece sheepskin rug, which is completely different in feel, longevity and warmth to the cheaper alternatives…. Don’t forget if you don’t have your size, don’t panic, a larger size can be cut to fit very easily with a sharp pair of scissors.

These are perfect for those who want to enjoy the softness of sheepskin, but with a structured back, to help keep them in place. The backing gives them grip and structure, though we wouldn’t recommend these for use in a backless style shoe.

If you find they aren’t the right fit, these insoles can be cut and trimmed using normal scissors.
