British Handmade Sahara Sheepskin Moccasins - Slightly Imperfect

We have a few pairs available of our handmade Sahara Moccasin which have the smallest blemishes, missed when they were being stitched. These are an absolute bargain, considering the sheepskin and interior is perfect inside. These can be ordered in a size larger if you wear socks, so for example a Size 8 would be suitable for a 7 foot if you regularly wear socks and prefer a little wiggle room, the standard sizing on these is very snug as they’re designed to be worn barefoot.

Full description: Our Sahara Moccasin has been made here in Somerset overlooking the historic Glastonbury Tor for many years. One of our most popular styles, for all ages and genders, we now offer in a PVC firm sole or a pure suede soft sole option. Each pair of these gorgeous slippers are handmade from luxurious British sheepskin and Scottish suede. This classic moccasin has an adjustable tie lace, scalloped collar and what they call in our industry a “pie-crust” finish around the toes where it is stitched.  We have a PVC sole with a light tread, which is lightweight, durable and thick enough to give the bottom of the slippers some protection from stone/rough floors. We craft each pair by hand, employing local crafts people in this traditional industry.

These Moccasins are designed to be a snug fit, which means they tend to run on the smaller side, the pattern is suited to those with narrow and standard fit width, not wide fitting. We find most customers tend to order up a size for ease, as the majority wish to wear socks, or prefer some wiggle room at the toes – also relevant if you have a broader foot. Alternatively, if you like the barefoot feel, go ahead and order your normal size.

Currently available in sizes 5-13 with a slim firm sole or soft sole. The firm sole option has a 6 millimetre sole, approximately. A perfect combination of luxury, style and warmth with the added bonus of being 100% British made, right here in Somerset.
