100% British Undyed Rare Breed Short Fur Sheepskin Rugs
£89.99 – £124.99
We have been busy at the Tannery this week! We have hand selected these 100% British Undyed Rare Breed sheepskins for their dense shorn wool. These shorter fur length rugs are perfect for chairs, with a dense fleece, without the bulk of long fur getting in the way. We have just a few, from this special short wool and shorn batch of skins, all 100% British, bred, grazed, culled in the UK and tanned in the South West.
Hand-selected, just days ago, these are brand new and exclusive. These short fur sheepskins are 100% British, the sheep are bred, grazed on UK fields and processed for meat, all within the UK and tanned in the UK, hand picked and finished by ourselves in our Somerset Workshop. Selected from farms across the UK, only the finest skins make the grade here at Sheepland, we do our best to support British Farming and we have the best relationships with our suppliers. We have just a small amount of these available, so every rug available is listed in the drop down menu, along with the measurements and photos. We have named them from SH1 onwards the measurements are also on the dropdown list, you are buying that individual photo which appears on the listing once you have chosen an option from the dropdown menu.
International Orders (including the Republic of Ireland): If you’re browsing our website from outside the UK, due to the recent changes in VAT collection, please order via our Etsy shop here instead. If your products aren’t listed, send us an email here and we’ll create a bespoke link for you to order with instead.
If you have any trouble at all, please do not hesitate to call us on 01458 850991 and we can help. If you have any questions about the colouring or are after something in specific, you can email us at sheepland@outlook.com and we’ll do our very best to help! We can of course send additional Photos. We call these “Organic” sheepskins because they are entirely free of any bleach or dye, they have still been tanned to preserve the hide, but the colouring and patterns have been left 100% utterly as nature intended.
We do our very best to take these photographs in natural light and we do not alter the colouring post production. However as much as we try to give a clear reflection on the colouring, sheepskin is a natural product and in some lights tones may appear differently, this is the beauty of buying such a unique sheepskin.
