Opening Hours
We are currently working Monday-Thursday 9:15am-3pm and we will usually re-open on Fridays from November until January.
Shipping
We will always do our very best to send orders as quickly as we can, we may take longer if items need to be made or we need to get in touch. We would ask that you ensure that someone is available to sign for your delivery once you have ordered it. At present due to COVID carriers have stopped asking the customer for a signature but they do take a name and a GPS location once delivery has been executed, however this is subject to change. We send orders Monday –Thursday using Royal Mail, the service depends on the size or value of the parcel and what has been selected at checkout. Orders received over the weekend will be dispatched on the following Monday/Tuesday. This excludes all Public and Bank holidays. Please contact us for our Christmas / New Year schedule.
Products are sent with the following:
Royal Mail 24h Tracked – aim is next working day which will have a delivery confirmation
Royal Mail 48h Tracked – aim is two to three working days which will have a delivery confirmation
Royal Mail 48h – aim is two to three working days and no tracking or signature is applicable
At present prices are £4.89 for 24h Royal Mail, and £3.99 for 48h – however this is subject to change.
We cannot guarantee these time frames but Royal Mail do always endeavour to do this. If you provide us with a valid email address we will then pass this on to our carriers, who will then confirm your parcel tracking details and delivery estimate via email. If you are not in when delivery is attempted the delivery person may try to leave your parcel with a neighbour. Otherwise usually they will attempt to deliver the next day or you can arrange to collect from your local depot or collection office. If you are not in after two attempted deliveries the parcel may be returned to us and you will be charged for parcels return. Re-delivery costs will then apply before goods are sent out again.
Areas to which we deliver
We will only use our standard Royal Mail shipping to ship to confirmed addresses within the UK Mainland. We offer a service to BFPO Addresses, Northern or Southern Ireland, Scottish Islands or Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, or the Channel Islands but this will be charged AT COST with “Signed For” tariff with Royal Mail.
Our definition of Scottish Highlands & Islands is as follows. Post Codes: FK17-99, G83, IV1-28, IV33-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-33, PA34-40, PH15-26, PH30, PH31-41, PH49-50, HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3. We can only use Royal Mail for these postcode areas and some extra costs may be incurred.
Delivery
In most circumstances a signature will be required when your parcel is delivered. Please do not sign for a parcel unchecked, we cannot accept claims for damages after you have signed.
We make our Traditional Range slippers and rugs on the premises, UK customers will usually receive their orders within 24 hrs of despatch – international customers please contact us and we will advise. Delivery times may take longer at peak times, especially if we need to make special sizes, please telephone us if you would like something delivered for a specific time or occasions we can usually try to help.
Please Note: We cannot be held responsible for failures on the part of our courier company or the Royal Mail. We will always do our best to ensure your parcels are delivered to you on time.
Outside the UK/International Parcels
We can take orders for delivery to the USA through our website, all other destinations need to be placed through our Etsy shop here. International parcels are charged postage at cost, we will let you know the cost of the postage beforehand and confirm all sizes before sending. FedEx require a telephone number and we cannot send any parcels without a suitable contact number. We are restricted in some countries by a maximum weight and size, due to our shipping contract, please contact if you would like more information. Outside the EU, Goods are sent D D U, recipient is liable for any local taxes. USA customers are not charged import duty on items less than $200.
