Lightweight Dark Sheepskin Insoles (one pair) - Slightly Imperfect

We have been experimenting with our sheepskin insoles this year and have created a small batch in a thinner and softer sheepskin in a dark grey. These are designed to fit more easily in shoes and boots, giving the comfort and warmth, without the bulk. With our sheepskin insoles we sometimes have a little trouble matching the sheepskins, hence why we have these available. We try to cut every pair from the same skin however this isn’t always possible and as each sheep is different, we find there can be variation from insole to insole, so this listing is for those pairs that aren’t necessarily cut from the same skin. One may have a more straight texture or the other may be more coarse in feel – though they are still incredibly warm and comfortable. These also may have some blemishes from the glue around the edge.

These are made with shorter length sheepskin, which enables them to fit in most shoes and wellies. These shouldn’t be confused with the much cheaper “lambswool” variants, which are made by gluing the sheared wool from the sheep onto a latex backing. These insoles are instead, cut directly from a whole fleece sheepskin rug, which is completely different in feel, longevity and warmth to the cheaper alternatives…. Don’t forget if you don’t have your size, don’t panic, a larger size can be cut to fit very easily with a sharp pair of scissors.

If you find they aren’t the right fit, these insoles can be cut and trimmed using normal scissors.
