Sheepland 100% British Undyed Rare Breed Pure Sheepskin Quad - Natural Mahogany Light Tipped – Handmade in Somerset

We are absolutely thrilled to share our brand new 100% British Undyed Natural Quad Sheepskin Rug in what we’re nicknaming as “Undyed Mahogany “, individually hand picked and stitched by ourselves, from 100% British Sheepskins. The fleece has incredible depth of colour , with a Teak Chocolate base, with Honey and Maple Highlights and a lovely soft fluffy fur. This one is absolutely stunning!!

Anyone that follows our social media, knows how rare these stunning Quads are, we make between three and four a year, as they are so difficult to match the sheepskins. We’d love to make more, but they are near impossible to match, as the rare breed sheepskins are so unique. Therefore we are delighted to share our latest creation with you, in one of the thickest sheepskin fleeces we’ve worked with.

Hand-selected by us from 100% British Sheepskins tanned in our South West Tannery, these are hand finished and painstakingly hand matched to create a large Quad rug, which is then cut, sewn and finished all in our Somerset Workshop. We have chosen these fleeces from a naturally brown flock of sheep, these have not been dyed or bleached in any way, the highlights within the fleece, are from the many months grazing in the fields under the sun. The thickness of these sheepskins is unparalleled, it would barely fit under our sewing machine, we worked so hard to make it work!

Very popular for those wishing to have something a little different from the norm, with much more character, buying British has never been so easy.

We are one of the last remaining Sheepskin Workshops which make all of our Organic Rugs here in our Somerset Workshop, these are hand-matched, cut, sewn, finished, trimmed and brushed all on site. These are truly 100% British, from British reared sheep, made with our own fair hands in the traditional ways. This individual Quad rug is approx 200cm in length and 115cm in width, with super soft fur, perfect in front of a fireplace. We have just one of these made (as photographed), as they are notoriously difficult to match, so don’t hang around, once it’s gone, it’s gone!
