In case you weren’t sure, here at Sheepland we are utterly British through and through, we love a proper cuppa, have a great admiration for the Queen and are just experts at queuing! We are proud to still be manufacturing here in our Somerset Workshop since 1986, beating all the odds and producing exceptional luxury sheepskin items. We especially love that customers specifically seek us out because they understand there is nothing quite like British quality and workmanship.
So we have now made it even easier for people to find us and find out more about our British brand, as we are proud to be the newest member of “Make it British”.

Make it British are the go to source of information on all different British-made brands and UK manufacturing on the web. Their passion for British craftsmanship rivals our own and they have a vast array of fashion,home,health and beauty brands all wonderfully British within their huge directory, making it even easier for people to find the product they need – British of course! We love that “at Make it British we believe that a product’s provenance is of the utmost importance. By buying authentic British goods, manufactured by skilled craftsman using the finest materials, you are helping to keep these skills alive in the UK. If you don’t support those makers in Britain that still have these precious skills, you will lose them forever.”
Since 2011 Make it British have been campaigning mercilessly to promote British brands, manufacturing and shedding some light on little known industries – and for this we have to say thank you.There are some wonderful companies out there with like minded values and ideals, it is fantastic for us as a business to explore these avenues ourselves. Wouldn’t it be lovely if we all tried to buy a little closer to home? Not only would we be making a difference to our own economy, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt our carbon footprint either!
We now hope that more and more people can celebrate our innate “British-ness” with us here at Sheepland!
